eGalax_eMPIA Technology Incorporation, EETI, is a multi-nations company, based in TAIWAN and Silicon Valley. Founded in December 2006, EETI is the merger of the leading touch solution provider - eGalax Inc (founded in 2000) and the leading USB video capture device and audio IC solution provider - eMPIA Technology Corp (founded in 2002).
EETI has two business units, touch BU and audio/video IC BU. The former specializes in touch solutions, and will become the only supplier with solution for all four touch panel technologies, resistive, capacitive, SAW and IR in the world. The later specializes in embedded multifunction peripheral imaging appliances of systems-on-chip (SOC) for PC peripheral and consumer electronics market as well as IP and various interface technologies.
Both BU’s firmware and driver engineers are with extensive training background and working experience in related fields, the vision of the two companies are also merged into a collective whole – to be a world class leading company. |
